Thank you all for your continued support this year and I wish all our clients a very jolly Christmas.
I would like to thank my excellent team for all their hard work and dedication over the past year and I know that they will want me to pass on their best regards to you all.
I can now rest after what has been a hugely busy month. Have a good time and I will look forward to seeing you all in 2015.
This month’s article is brought to you by Ashley Taylor, Director at Greg Malloy Hairdressing in Penrith.
Colder weather brings a change of mood and quite often a big change of image! This season the hottest hairstyles are rustic and natural and are in the main part low maintenance which is good news in today’s fast paced and busy world. The biggest hit in my view is the long shaggy/wavy bob nicknamed “The Lob” and was inspired by Jerry Hall’s most recent haircut. The great thing with this style is it is very universal and suits a variety of ages as it doesn’t go below the shoulders which is often a large no, no for many older ladies. It is best worn wavy and with textured layers and is nice with or without a fringe. Ladies with oval, oblong, square, and diamond shaped faces will suit this cut the best and this means it is very versatile. You need to instruct your stylist to cut a blunt shoulder length bob and add long layers and then style it with a wand or curlers. Finally add a spritz of shine spray and tousle with your fingers.
Another option that is popular for naturally curly ladies is a shorter curly bob. It is a little reminiscent of the eighties but it is a popular and current look. This gives the curls a chance to do their thing and provides an easily maintained look full of bounce and body.
