Christmas!!

Let me take this opportunity to thank all our clients for their support and custom throughout the year. We wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy new year!!

I would like to remind customers of our extended hours over Christmas including Sunday openings!

Don’t forget to consider what good Christmas pressies a few choice hair products can make. Most of us struggle to justify spending on hair products on ourselves but would really appreciate a quality shampoo and conditioner for christmas. These items are all on special offers within the salon and available through the salon online shop so consider who would like them as a gift???

Merry Christmas from all at Greg Malloy Hairdressing.

hair tip!!

The best thing to promote your hair growth is massage!!! get your partner/friend anybody you can to gently massage your hair tonight to aid the stimulation of blood to your follicles. If you do this everyday you will definitely notice increased growth rate of your hair!!!!

Happy massaging!!!!

Weddings!!

I am now knee deep in wedding season and would like to wish all the best to my brides this week. I have a few wedding tips and trends to share this week based on my recent wedding hair experiences.

Jewelry is becoming much more popular and I am increasingly pinning in necklaces (as something old or borrowed) and broaches. This weekend I worked with some fabulous headlaces designed to sit at the temples, they were very Kim Kardashian and looked beautiful and very original.

Also my top tip for hair accessories is to try your local haberdashery store to find buttons that can be easily looped onto grips and popped into wedding hair. They will have a selection and they are much cheaper than other shops that sell wedding hair accessories!!

I hope this gives prospective brides some inspiration. Happy wedding planning!!!

curly hair!

For those of you who like me have trouble controlling curls my tip is to consider using products designed for straightening or smoothing hair. I find that these products will control frizz and define curls better than some of the curly hair products!!!

A classic example of this is liss control cream by L’Oreal. I use this for corkscrew, smooth curls and it leaves my hair frizz free. Of course this will only work on hair that is naturally very curly and is not for someone with wavy hair.Try it out and see what you think.

Thanks Ashley x
