curly hair!

For those of you who like me have trouble controlling curls my tip is to consider using products designed for straightening or smoothing hair. I find that these products will control frizz and define curls better than some of the curly hair products!!!

A classic example of this is liss control cream by L’Oreal. I use this for corkscrew, smooth curls and it leaves my hair frizz free. Of course this will only work on hair that is naturally very curly and is not for someone with wavy hair.Try it out and see what you think.

Thanks Ashley x

wedding tips!

If you are lucky enough to be tying the knot this year then your hair is at the forefront of your mind if its not then it should be. Here are a few suggestions to get your hair in optimum bridal condition!!!

Keep it well conditioned, use more than usual leave it on a fraction longer and maybe treat yourself to a new treatment to use weekly to fix and restore your hair. (for really chemically damaged in my view the best is Alterna protein repair masque RRP £42) A lighter option Bamboo moisture masque from Alterna. These are all sulphate free products and protect colours from fading also.

Get it trimmed!!!!! many prospective brides try to avoid haircuts but the honest answer is it will grow but the ends will be tatty and frizzy if they have not been attended to.

Practice your bridal style with your stylist so that you can relax knowing how it will all look on your big day!!

Good luck and enjoy your weddings!!

conditioning!

All the ends of your hair could probably do with a good conditioning drink before summer, so invest in a treatment to treat you and your hair and seeing as its the week of love get your partner to massage it in for a relaxing and therapeutic experience!

We recommend: L’Oreal mythic oil treatment (RRP£16), or for a more luxury buy Alterna Kendi oil moisture mask (RRP£24)
